Wanda k. Berryman (affectionately known as Wendy) was born to the late Conway Berryman and Katherine Morton Berryman on may 27, 1955 in Stafford, Virginia. She was a lifetime partner to Gerald a. Massey for over 40 years.

Of this partnership two children were born: Shawntaine K. Berryman (Christopher a. fields) and Antonio K. Berryman, both of Petersburg, va. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister Lisa Whitfield (Gerald); her mother-in-law Geraldine Massey; uncles Charles Massey; aunts Janet Massey, Tammy Massey and Rhonda Massey-Shatterfield. she is survived by her life partner, her children; her grandchildren Andre M. Bumbrey; Anton Bumbrey; Xavier Mcmullen; Madyson Garrett; Javontae Payne; Remarcus Turner; Talonte’ Baltimore; A’geyana Baltimore (Yanni); Damri Davis-Berryman; sisters Myra f. Berryman of Stafford, Va; Pamela a. Taylor of Duluth, Georgia; Avis Y. Berryman of Caroline county, Va; Deborah Payne (Ricky) of Manassas, Va and Michelle Payne (Arthur, affectionately known as Ed) (who was very devoted to her older sister); brothers Wayne Berryman (Deborah) of Stafford, Va; Maurice M. Berryman (Theresa) of Front Royal, Va; and Keith S. Berryman (April) of Stephens city, VA; in-laws Lynette Johnson (johnny); Donna Massey; Kareema Massey; Wayne Massey; and John Massey; and a host of nieces and nephews who each had an individual and special relationship with their aunt Wendy.

Wendy, in her own words, was a “chilled” person who loved her family with all of her heart and knew she was very blessed. Everyone who came in contact with her loved her. She was known to be the life of the party; no matter who you were, she always made you feel welcome. She was an avid Dallas cowboys and Ohio state fan and loved playing the lottery. Wendy had a very infectious spirit. She always had a way of putting a smile on your face, even when you didn’t want to smile. A beautiful soul that will truly be missed…fly high my angel until we meet again.
