I had moved from Harrisonburg Va, to a small county town call Broadway Va, and that is where i meant the best friend in the world to me. I never went without, for if Wanda had it , so did i. And her and her parnter Gerald was so great to me, so much I call them my angels. I will never forget when my car broke down , she allowed me to drive her car for 2 weeks back and forward to work,( and i worked and hour going , and an hour coming home.) But she didn’t care..And Gerald would fix my car and charge me nothing!!!! Can’t find to many people like this. I will miss you so so much.. And know I love you…. Thank you, Wanda ,for bein a friend <3

Wanda and I graduated from Stafford High School in 1974. We were the best of friends and had so much fun. During lunch, we would buy the ice cream nutty butty cones. Wanda loved the cones but she did not like the nuts on top. She would scrape the nuts off the cones, put them in a napkin, and give me the napkin to eat the nuts along with my ice cream cone. That’s a true friend; want not waste not. Our paths crossed again in the late 1990s at a church program. I was so thankful and grateful to see Wanda again. Rest in peace, my long time friend Wanda.
