Jennifer and Girls, Henry was such a great person. He leaves his legacy of a man who loved his family, his country and worshipped God with all of himself. He left us way to soon, but if we keep looking to the heavens for our help, we will understand it better by and by. We love you all.

Jennifer and family, my heart is sadden due to Henry’s passing. My mind went back to all those years of cousins waiting for our school bus at their home. All the laughter, jokes, and fun. Henry, Alvin, and myself, the Class of 1979, Louisa Lions. Henry and Alvin in football practices, and games and I in basketball practice and games riding home on those buses, discussing our future plans. May God wrap His loving arms around you all today and in the days to come. Gwen (cousin)

So sorry to read this news. Henry was so funny back in our days at LCHS. I can see him now always trying to get a laugh. Obviously lost touch with him after school, but sounds like he has touched many lives and lived life well. Deepest sympathies and prayers of peace to his family and friends. Lisa Padgett Hancock Class of ’79

We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Henry’s passing. He was a member of the masonic lodge with Alvin. Alvin called Henry on his way to work on Thursday. Henry was in a good mood and the both of them were joking back and forth. They had really become good friends. We are keeping you all in our prayers. May God bless you.
