Walter Nathaniel Curtis Jr departed this life on January 31st, 2024 at 12:28pm. He was born on February 14, 1974 in Washington DC to the Late Walter N. Curtis and Betty J Curtis.
Walter was the Eldest child of this union. Walter was preceded in death by his Father and Brother; Walter Sr. and Alphonso Curtis. Aunts and Uncles Annie, Edna, Michael, Bruce, Seneca III. Grandparents: Seneca and Rosa Lee Dent; Margaret Watson and Walter Parker.

Walter attended the District of Columbia (DC) Public schools.

In his early years, He loved Sports, Movies, Traveling and eating. He could often be seen out of town with his Aunts and Uncles.

Walter received Christ at an early age at the St. Augustine Church located in Washington, DC.
Walter was a beloved son always willing to do anything for his mother and Family. When it came to hard work he never was scared of a challenge.

Even after his Diagnosis, Walter still activated his faith and allowed his light to continue to shine on everyone who experienced him.

Walter believed Laughter was essential to life and would often Crack jokes and smile no matter what life threw his way.

The thing Walter gave to the world was love because God first loved him. He was a beacon of unmatchable faith that could see anyone through anything. His light has ascended through his transition and rose to higher mountains than man can climb. His light and love also continues to live within his Family and friends.

Walter leaves to cherish his memory a VERY devoted Mother Betty J Curtis; one aunt Eyvette Watson two Uncles Donald Watson and Paul Curtis; Cousins: Darryl Baker; Christopher, Anthony, Alphonso and Erica Dixon; Tyisha Jones (Sam); Melvin and Juanishia Lee; Donald Zachary. Love of his life: Janice Easterwood(Sharve & Shawnee) ; Devoted Friend: Marcel “Blow” Washington, Michelle Bonner and Francis Lee also a host of other relatives and friends.
