Sometimes the people whom we’ve known only a short amount of time have a bigger impact on us than those we’ve known forever. This was Shawnda. Although our acquaintance wasn’t long, the connection I felt with Shawnda made it feel like I’d known her forever. Not her life, but her emotions, her dreams, and her aspirations. When I think of Shawnda, I think of kindness, wisdom, and love. To the Brown Family: May you find comfort in knowing that Shawnda now rests in the arms of our Savior.
