Sadari Douglas entered eternal rest on October 22, 2022. She was born in Bedstuy, New York on October 31, 1970. Sadari was raised by her mother Blanche M. Dennis in Mt. Vernon, New York, where she resided until 1998. She lived the remainder of her life in Richmond, Virginia as a healthcare home aide caregiver.

Sadari accepted Christ in her life in her pre-teen years. She was baptized and joined Shiloh Baptist Church in New Rochelle, New York.

Sadari attended a New York Public High School. She attended Mt. Vernon High School where she was not only well known but well liked.

She was the most lovable person you’d ever meet. Sadari would put all her troubles aside to lend a helping hand or listening ear. She gave great words of advice and was very motivational. She’d welcome anyone with open arms providing a certain level of love, comfort and acceptance any and everyone adored. She shared so much kindess, laughter and joy with so many people. One could never forget her beautiful smile.

She leaves many loved ones to cherish her memories. Sadari preceded in death by her mother Blanche M. Dennis. She was a devoted mother to her two children, son, Demontae Rivers and daughter, Late’Stra Douglas. She was a loving grandmother of three grandsons, Sa’Dai Najee Douglas (RIP), Zy’Karri Najee Dabney and Zy’Ree Sa’Dai Dabney. Sadari was always a caring sister to five sisters, Delores Dennis, Monique Douglas, Shantell Giil, Charmeka Gill and Tiffany Gill. She had unconditional love for her nieces and nephew Tah’tianje Allen, Denisha Dennis, Jeziyuh Sykes, Pamela Coston, Chaziyah Gill, Alana Edwards and Jekhi Gill. Sadari was also a great aunt to host of four great nephews and one great niece
