Praying God gives you and your family the emotional and physical strength needed to make it such a difficult time. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

“To care for those who once cared for us is the highest honor.” Evelyn, I know you did just that. You always left work with the salutation, “Gotta go cook Mom’s dinner!” I’d laugh when you’d come back thee next say with a full container of homemade fixins for lunch because ‘Mom’ had suddenly changed her mind and wanted Subway instead…LOL! What a beautiful testimony of a rich full life surrounded by those who loved her. Peace and sweet memories to you and your family!

While I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother in person, I loved hearing the stories from Evelyn every day about her exploits and requests. So glad she moved past the hot dogs! I know that she is finally resting with our Lord and is free from the trials of this life. My prayers are with you all.

To my family I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Marie. She was special to me. I will always hold the fond memories that we shared close to my heart. She would call me and tell me what time to pick her up and take her to appointments and I couldn’t be late. I really enjoyed our relationship. May her soul rest in peace.
