Keturah was born November 07, 1991 in Prince William County at Prince William Hospital to Shelia Strother and Eugene Potter.

Keturah was nicknamed “Mommy” at a very young age by her Great Aunt Bessie because she was very strong willed. The name followed her through life because she acted like everyone’s mother no matter their age. Keturah lit up the room with her smile and energy, she was a bit stubborn, but her heart made up for it. If you ever encountered her, you know and will never forget that infectious laugh and her corny jokes. As she always said “Imma give you the real” that was who Ketruah was no sugar coating.

Keturah leaves behind so many loved ones it is hard to name them all so if I left you out forgive me. Her kids who she loved with every being in her soul. Oldest to youngest Arne’ez Strother-Beanum, Jai’van Strother, Ja’niyla Strother, Jah’queez Strother, and heavenly angel Latavian Strother. She had so much love surrounding her, lucky enough to have family everywhere she went. The King family: Brother James King, Sister Nateisha King, Aunt Saybrina Beanum, and Momma Tralisa King. The Strother family: Mother Shelia Strother, Sister Tiania Strother, Brother James Strother, Brother Berto Strother, Sister Naconda Strother, Aunt Carolyn Ward. The Beanum, Morton and Mickens family also was there for her through her life in good and bad times.

Devoted her time to taking care of her mother, friends, and family. She will be truly missed beyond what words could even say. Thank you from the family for all the support and love through all of this
