Ketron Rakee Green passed away suddenly on January 26, 2024. He was born March 2, 1993, in Richmond, Va. He accepted the Lord at an early age and became a member of the Providence Park Baptist Church in Richmond, VA.

Ketron graduated from Henrico High School in 2011. He was currently employed at Pauly’s Moving Company in Mechanicsville, VA.

He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He truly loved and admired his children and would go above and beyond to do whatever he could for them. He loved living life to the fullest and had great passion for sports. Ketron was an avid boxer and his commitment kept him in the ring from childhood to adolescence. He shared his passion for dogs. It is comforting to know that he spent his final moments with something he loved deeply. His constant joviality brought cheerfulness to everyone in his presence. He cherished family and friends, and embraced moments of levity, sharing laughter and joy with those around him. To know Ketron, was to love him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents, Keith and Jennifer Hunter; biological mother, Melinda Green; six loving children, K’mare Pettis, Isaiah Evans, Kevonte’ Johnson, I’Yanna Green, Haze Walker, Tamahj Johnson; seven sisters, Aimee, Artashena, Narsheta, Kiaria and Marquetta Green, LaKeisha and Shanna Hunter; two brothers, T’mar and Taurus Green; two brotherly cousins, Jason and Juston (Shay) James; grandmother, Nettie Green; grandfather, John Hunter; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends, amongst them, devoted Aunt, Verjenia “Iodine” Green. His remembrance will always be treasured by his devoted friend Tyrek Oliver and motherly friend, Adrian Oliver. Ketron will be missed by all who knew him.
