Jason Scott Harris, 30, departed this life to his eternal life on September 18, 2022. He was born to Sonya Harris and Maurice Fountain on January 18, 1992. Jason joined the New Life Kingdom Church, formally New Life Christian Center, at an early age under the leadership of the late Bishop Earl T. Fries. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ethel F. Harris.

Jason attended Hanover County Public Schools and is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He was employed by Outback Steakhouse for over 10 years where he was loved by all who came in contact with him. Jason embraced life’s ups and downs, all with a smile on his face and always had the ability to make the best of any situation. He had an uncanny ability to light up a room and bring laughter to those who surrounded him. If you were lucky enough to know him, your memories would surely include his witty ability to give nicknames that would last a lifetime. His fun- loving spirit will truly be missed and always in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons who he adored Jevon Scott and Rajon Marcel Harris, his devoted mother Sonya Harris, his father and stepmother Maurice Sr. and Saprina Fountain, his loving grandparents Alvin and Mary Fountain, his devoted siblings Nikki and Marcus Harris, Lexus Henry, Maurice Fountain Jr., Kaela O’Hara and Daujahnae Anderson, his adoring God sister Alaya King, his aunts Tarsha Harris, Deborah and Selena Fountain and Sheila Watkins. His uncles Gerald Harris and Cornelius Fountain, his nieces Kaelani and Nu’Lundii, his nephews Jamari, Camdyn, Kayden, Micah, Xander and Corderol Jr. and a great host of other relatives and friends
