I so wanted to write something with him.I saw him first when i first worked at SPC. Left returned to the area to be closer to my mother. Tried to get a job locally but failed as usual until one day i met him again at SPC and he said something like we’re now ready to learn what u tried to bring to us a decade ago.I received an interview and argued with the prez during the interview but he smoothed it over somehow and i was hired. Worked directly under him for a short while and i had a few talks with him. .My most favorite talks were about being raised in homes that later became single parent homes and how his family. helped him in terms of getting his first jobs and going to school((i told him the struggles of my son after high school). I felt and i have said that SPC would still be open if he had been allowed to help. Pole. Pole. Pole. (I’m sorry in Swahili. Condolences Dr. Barbara Wyche

My deepest condolences to the beloved ones of Dr. Keathen Wilson. As a former colleague, I am greatly saddened to learn of his passing. There are simply not enough words. He was kind, unassuming, engaging and an all around delightful person that I feel blessed to have met and worked with, even if for a short time. He gave new meaning to humble servanthood and the impressions he made will never be forgotten. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. God bless you all.
