Curtis Lee Barnett was born to Rayfield and Geneva Barnett on May 30, 1942. He departed this life on October 1, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Curtis attended Stafford County Public Schools. He enjoyed family and friends, and was very loyal to the ones he loved. He loved his special niece Mary (Boo) Wilson (Jesse).
At an early age Curtis moved away to California where he spent most of his life. Upon returning back home he joined Union Bell Baptist Church.

Curtis leaves to cherish in his memory his sister Pearlean Cook, daughter Tammy Furr (Sean), four grandchildren, Tameka Howard, Mitchell Conway III, Tanikway Morton (Antonio), Kadesha Day (Tevin), six great-grandchildren, three aunts, WilliaMae White, Estelle Strothers, and Lorraine Alsop, his dog Max McGinister and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was proceeded in death by the love of his life Lydia McGinister, his parents Rayfield and Geneva Barnett and his brother Raymond Barnett.
