Charles H. “Piney Pleasants departed this life July 22,2022 at home. He was born to the late Rosemary and Charles Pleasants Sr. on May 4,1951.Charles joined the Mt.Olivet Baptist at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev.Junius Robertson.

He was employed with Freed Dehner Sawmill Co. for over 50 years. He was a jack of all trades, he was a wonderful mechanic, loved to fish with his friend Bubba out on the water, and visit his favorite casinos.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Rosemary and Charles Pleasants,Sr,brother Walter Pleasants(Louise),daughter Little Miss Charley Pleasants, and granddaughter Little Miss Abbey Rose Hunter.

Charles is survived by his wife Carolyn ;daughters ,Chazzy ,Dolly, Jessica (Tyrone) ,Ashley and Cherish; sons Dennis(Tamara);Lionel Paul “PJ” and David; one sister Hazel Pleasants;14 grandchildren;10 greatgrandchildren;3 sister in laws; 2 aunt in laws; and 2 brothers in laws. Devoted friends (like brothers) Warren “Bubba” Coles, James Taylor, Robert Waller, and Thomas (Tommie) Wattle and a host of other relatives and friends.
