To the Family and Loved Ones of Mrs. Bert Nichols: We send condolences and heartfelt blessings. We know you will miss her but you can rejoice in the knowledge that death is not the end for those that believe in Jesus and God’s promises. We can be grateful for her Christian testimony and the life she lived. Conversations about her and memories of her will keep her alive in our hearts. God loves us and hears our prayers. We pray that He will let you remember her life more than her death… and she seemed to really enjoy life.

Mrs Nichols was one of my favorite people. I was saddened to learn about her death and will miss her notes and telephone visits. I will always remember what an interesting person she was to visit with and how stylish she was. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

Words cannot express how my family & I are feeling. Ms. Bert you will truly be missed! To the family, may God continue to keep you all in perfect peace. Ms. Bert was a beautiful & loving lady. I will miss the fun times she shared with my family. There was never a time that she wasn’t ready to go and have dinner with us. We will miss the smiles, laughter, beautiful poems & calling you to ask if you wanted some dinner and desserts. Thank you Ms. Bert for the many years of love you showed to my Mom, her children & grandchildren! You will always be remembered! We loved & cherished you. Blessings to the family! Sincerely, Denise “Niecey” Jackson and Arethia “Peewee” Jackson

To the family of my friend Bert. When she went to the hospital I waited for her to come home to say Happy Easter, but she didn’t. Then I waited for her to come home to say Happy Birthday but she didn’t. And I thought I will see her for Mother’s Day & found out she would not be back. I became so sad because I knew no more poems,no more laugher or fine gatherings . But I then realized no more pain. And if the streets are filled with Gold where she has gone she would be very happy because there would be lots of bling. And happiness & joy would be her’s again. Family take care and be bless. Bert was one of a kind.
