Right now I am truly heartbroken, to find out that my friend and laughing partner passed away over a month ago. We were the grandmothers of our precious Angel Yuriah also known as (Yuri). You will truly be missed my beautiful friend, my heart aches because I didn’t know of this until today. I will remember our talks and laughs and most of all I will remember your beautiful smile. Give our grandson Yuriah a big kiss for me, I know that he’s being spoiled with you and my parents looking after him. I love you and will see you again, take your rest now the toils of this life is now over and you are healed.

I am shocked and sadden of Detta passing, such a beautiful soul, we met at Genworth we started on the first day together, started talking to one another and found out we were cousins, and my boys knew your son before we new we were cousins, as I write with tears in my eyes, I am going to miss you Cuz as we call each other or sometimes we would call each other Sis. You had the most beautiful soul, beautiful inside and out. I am going to miss calling you, we would talk for hours, or you would stop by and we will sit, eat, and talk for hours, while praising the Lord in our conversations. I am praying for Wayne, your mom and the rest of your family. May your beautiful soul RIPARADISE. God has gained another beautiful flower for his garden. Take you rest sweetheart, until we meet again.

To the family, Detta…I was so shocked to hear about your passing! God has definitely gained an angel. I hadn’t gotten a message from you since early November but didn’t think anything of it! Didn’t know you had been sick. I will never forget all of our conversations. Rest easy dear friend! You will never be forgotten…always so sweet, mild mannered and kind!
