Andrew F Trent

Andrew Faggins Trent Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1932, to the late Ollie and Mary Trent of Cumberland County Virginia. He was educated in the Cumberland County School system. He accepted Christ at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Seven of his siblings and three of his children (Desiree’ Hatcher, Andrew Trent Jr. and Sanchie).

Andrew was a longtime member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Cumberland, Virginia. He loved to sing, play cards and complete crossword puzzles and he loved listening to gospel music daily. He worked for several years for the actress Angela Lansbury of the television series “Murder She Wrote” and he also retried from RCA in 1989 where he worked as a mechanic for many years. Due to illness, he recently had moved in with his daughter Annette and son-in-law Julius Day.

Mr. Trent leaves to cherish his memory; one daughter Annette Day (Julius); one son, Willie Miller. Six adopted children, Tewan, Isis, Daniel, Dequan, Deshawn and Keisha; Thirteen grandchildren Shasoki, Donshiya, Jenisha, Sonya, Kanikia, David Jr., Wakea, Christoper, Willie Jr., Demar, Travis, Sadei and Jermaine; One son-in-law David Hatcher and one daughter-in-law Terry Trent; Sister-in-laws Vera and Cynthia Trent, and Anna, Estelle and Mary Miller; One brother-in-law Linwood Miller. Two loving and caring nieces Georgia and Georgette; a host of other nieces, nephews, family members, loved ones, and friends.
