Josiane O. Kabwe

Josiane Odi Kabwe went home to be with the Lord on 03/31/2021.

Josiane is survived by her loving and devoted husband Mr. Banza Djapao and two beautiful step daughters Banza Djapao Redeeme and Kalumbu Wa Tshikuni Gilberte ; her father Mr.Kabwe Kisiki, step mother Jolie Kabwe, many relatives and siblings in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Europe and different parts of the world. She is preceded in death by her mother the late Mrs Mikiti Mwisange.

Josiane was born on April 14, 1974 in Namur, Belgium. She completed her primary and secondary school education at Ukweli in Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C). Also, she pursued her university education and earned a bachelor degree in economics from the University of Lubumbashi (D.R.C). For many years, Josiane worked as a public servant in the payroll office with the city government in Lubumbashi and distinguished herself remarkably throughout her career.
As part of Josiane pursuit of knowledge and to give back to society, she taught high school students economics, mentored some of the students in high school and the university. Later on, Josiane also worked at Boss Mining as a supervisor within the payroll office at Luita, Kakanda in the Katanga Province. While in Kakanga, she was a singer in the local church, financially supported the church in furtherance of the gospel and faithfully offered any assistance needed by the church.

She married Mr.Banza Djapao in 2016. Relatives, friends and loved ones remember her as a kind person who encouraged them to live their Christian faith and to pursue their goals. She was always the first to defuse tension if she had any disagreements with anyone and did not harbor any misgivings or quarrel with anyone. Josiane loved helping people, participated in online intercessory prayers while living in the USA and volunteered in gospel evangelism while at the university during her time in the city of Lubumbashi.

Josiane was an accomplished cook, loved dancing and enjoyed photography. She was a generous individual who loved talking to people and was passionate about serving the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She worshipped at Zion Church of Fredericksburg, VA.
