Sonya has touched many lives and brought the unsaved to Christ not only did she minister at church but on the football field with her passion for the game. It gave her great pleasure watching her grandsons and godson play. You could always count on Sonya to tell the refs how bad their call was or to talk her trash like only she knew how. If you were lucky enough you could hear her yell out her favorite lines “I guess we are playing the refs to” or coach it’s not working switch it up” We are certain that the indelible imprint that she has left on our hearts exceeds the quantity of time that she lived. We will miss her beautiful smile and trash talking. As well as her beautiful personality. Sonya attended Hanover County Public School and is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School class of 1990.
