Jontay A. (JJ) Bennett

Jontay Alonzo Bennett was born in Richmond, Virginia on January 19, 2006 to Latasha Lashay Moore And Calvin Alonzo Bennett, Jr.

JJ was a student at Highland Springs High School and He was an exceptional football player. He, like most teenagers, enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing video games and being goofy. He had aspirations of going into the military and traveling the world. JJ was never one to demand the spotlight but his presence drew attention. We will remember his smile that often hid the jokester side of him and his affectionate nature. He was very much his mothers child and fathers twin. JJ loved his mother and sister fiercely.

JJ departed this side of Heaven on February 19,2024. He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Jr. He leaves behind his mother, Latasha and sister Ayonna, maternal grandparents Aaron and Vera(Rollins)Moore, paternal grandparents Calvin and Della (Pierce) Bennett, aunt Sierra Moore, uncles Andre Bennett and Ronnie Bennett along with a host of Cousins, Family and Friends.
