Lord El-sun Jaquan Warren, beloved son to Bridgette Hibbert and the late Wardell Warren, was born on April 22, 1989, in Harlem Hospital located in New York City, NY. He peacefully entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Jaquan spent his childhood in Manhattan and the Bronx before moving to Virginia where he resided until his demise. Jaquan’s education began in New York, where he attended elementary school before relocating to Virginia. He attended H.H. Poole Middle School in Stafford, VA, Brooke Pointe H.S., and North Stafford High School. Jaquan had a love for basketball, he played on his school team and for the AAU league. He obtained his GED and later started classes towards a degree from George Mason College. He enjoyed mentoring, imparting wisdom and knowledge to the youth. Jaquan also loved to work out, and many can attest to the vigorous and extensive training sessions he had twice a day. Being healthy became his passion. He wanted to pursue a license to become a personal trainer this year, unfortunately, fate had it otherwise. Lord El-sun Jaquan Warren, affectionately known as “Jaquan/Deuce” was a unique individual from a young age and his family realized he was blessed with a gift, he was musically inclined and an artistic writer. He loved the studios, where he wrote and created multiple songs about the streets, life, and his family. Jaquan was known for his LOYALTY not to one but to all of his friends and family. He had a heart of pure compassion and would give you the shirt off his back no matter who you were. He had not a selfish bone in his body. He viewed life through an optimistic lens, by always having a positive outlook on life. His slogan, was “if it messes with your mental, no matter what or who it is, get rid of it”. The most rewarding and important role in his life was being a father. Jaquan loved each one of his kids. He prided himself on making sure his kids bonded and loved one another. If he had one child, the other four were on the way. He was dedicated to becoming a better man, to be a better role model for his children. Jay is gone in the physical, but the roots of his tree still grow, and from his branches, the fruit sows, and his seeds drop a new harvest that contains his family forest. Losing him leaves a heartache, no one can cure. He was preceded in death by his father Wardell Warren, Grandmothers Cynthia Warren and Olivia Tatum. He is survived by his mother Bridgette Hibbert. His memory will live on through his children Zavion Harris, Anthony Warren, Jalynn Walden, Zymier Warren, and Cynthia Warren. His siblings Sandra Hibbert, Lamont Hibbert, Cheniqua Ford, Quiana Warren, Shaquaina Warren, Wardell (El-sun) Warren, Lord Elson Warren , and Elatisha Warren. His brother-in-laws Eli and Russell.
