Virginia A. Mason of Richmond, Virginia was born April 24, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Mason, mother, Fannie J. Brown, father, Coybern T. Jones, step-father Robert C. Brown, son James M. Mason, grandson, Brian Mason II, granddaughter, Yar Odom, Sisters, Dorothy Jenkins, Sallie Boone, Anna Burton, Joyce Gregg, Barbara Joyner and brother Charles Brown and son-in law Eugene Barrett, Sr. Virginia joined Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Newsom, Virginia at an early age and later joined Abner Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Va. Her career began as a cook at Virginia Union University, Kentucky Fried Chicken and worked in the Hotel/Restaurant Industry for over thirty years at Holiday Inn, 3200 W. Broad St, Richmond, VA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and was always on bending knees praying for her family. She leave to cherish her memory, her children Beverly Jones, Linda Johnson (Earl), Fannie Barrett, Shelia Long, grandchildren, Renona Powell, Ronald Dantzler (Teryrl’), Resa Dantzler, Demetra McLauren (Timothy), Erik’ Jones (Eleanor), Cedric Jones, Valencia Smith (Sean), Ira Jones, Eugene Barrett, Jr, Joshua Barrett, La’Kesha Mason, Jarice Mason and Brian Mason, great grandkids, Ticoyol Dantzler (Sade), Ti’Jana Odom, Ronald Dantzler III, Ronery’l Dantzler, C’Mintra Barringer (Reginald), Ey’Shu Dantzler, Ryan Boswell, Jr., Dorian Henderson (Derron), Jay’Ceon Morton, Erik’ Jones II, Jada Phillips, Justin Kidd-Jones, Y’niez Lewis, La’Savor Jones, Cedric Jones, Jr., Noah Smith, Bobby Barrett, Brandon Barrett, Christian Barrett, Kayla Barrett, Jarice Mason II, Tarice Mason, Kenneth Hill, Melanie Mason, Brian Mason III, Yasir Mason, great great grandkids TaKoya Dantzler, Ti’Karia Dantzler, Ticoyol Dantzler Jr, Ti’Koroain Dantzler, Taron Dantzler, Romeo Barringer, Kingsley Barringer, Enzo Barringer, Mahzi Barringer, Adien Henderson, Nyla Henderson, brothers Robert Brown (Frances), Hayward Jones (Carrie), Coybern Jones, Jr., Sisters Carolyn Brown Earva Scott (Charles) and Susie Long and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
