On December 27, 2021 God lifted and carried his son Randy “Dolph” Athus Woodson home. He was born on June 14, 1976 in Hanover County to Henry Lee Woodson Sr and Willetta Fleming-Woodson. At an early age Randy joined St. Mark Baptist Church. He attended Hanover County Public Schools and graduated from Patrick Henry High School. Randy also went on to graduate from ECPI University with a study in computers. Randy was currently employed at American Family Fitness. He loved going to watch football with his best friend almost as much as he loved Doritos and a Pepsi. He was a fan and supporter through thick and thin of the Washington Football Team. So many posts have been written about Randy and one of the words that keeps popping up is Humble. Randy was described as a humble teddy bear! Little known fact Randy’s birthday is on Flag day and he had a birthmark of…of course a flag (that’s his story and we’re sticking to it). All around great son, brother, uncle and friend! Randy leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved father and mother Henry Lee Sr and Willetta Woodson; two brothers, Henry Woodson (Dana) and Lenny Woodson and one sister Chasity Woodson; paternal grandmother Dorothy Turner; aunt Elvira Fleming, Linda D Fleming (John Jr deceased) uncles Johnny Turner (Glenis), Alphonso Turner (Christy); Nieces Chastyn Smith, Jada Smith, Sanease Woodson; nephew Jonathan Smith and a host of great aunts and cousins. He had two devoted friends: Thomas Mckay and family and Jordan Parks and |
