Ophelia Elizabeth Pryor departed this life December 25, 2021 at the age of 77.
She was born October 18, 1944 in Hanover County, Virginia to the late
Sylvester Winfred Pryor and Blanche I. Pryor.
Ophelia graduated from John M. Gandy High School. She retired from the
Department of Motor Vehicles after working there for over thirty plus years.
She joined the Bethany Baptist Church at an early age and attended faithfully
each Sunday until her health declined. She sung on the Gospel Chorus and the
Sanctuary Choir for years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas W. Pryor. She leaves to cherish her memories four sisters, Sandra Pryor, Joyce Pryor,
Theresa P. Jackson (Edwin), Virginia P. Harris and one brother, Curtis Pryor (Deborah) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
