Our beautiful angel, Kimaya Brown, beloved daughter of Danielle Valdeleon and Domonic Brown, found eternal peace on November 17, 2021 after her battle with cancer. She is survived by many loved ones to include her younger siblings Leilani and Kaleb, her Grandparents Raymond and Melanie Brown, Grandmother Janet Deihl, Step Parents Gabriel and Alisha, and a tribe of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kimaya attended Quioccasin Middle School and was a diligent student to say the least. Her favorite subject was Art, which suited her perfectly because she was incredibly creative and loved to use her talented imagination. She enjoyed baking and had an insatiable sweet tooth; decorating cakes and confections was an extension of her love for art. Kimaya was kind, introverted, fun loving, and silly around those with whom she felt at home. She was also responsible, considerate, organized, and a perfectionist. She loved collecting pretty rocks and crystals, miniature toys that she found cute, building towns with Legos, and revamping her squishies and repainting them into something new. Kimaya was truly unique—wise beyond her years while still pure of heart. Her family would like to thank the entire team of physicians, nurses, and administrative staff at the VCU Medical Center, The VCU Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House Foundation and the countless other amazing organizations that helped us along the way. Memorials may be sent in her name to any of the aforementioned organizations. |
