Sylvester E. Anderson

Sylvester Eugene Anderson was born in King William, Virginia on March 1, 1962 to the late Percell and Mary Anderson. He transitioned from time to eternity on September 1, 2021 in Lunenburg, Virginia.

Sylvester accepted Christ at an early age at Mangohick Baptist Church located in King William, Virginia. He attended King William Public Schools. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Carolyn R. Anderson on June 21, 1985 and from this union their legacy lives on through six children and six grandchildren. Later in his life, he resided in Lunenburg, Virginia with his companion, his significant other, Ms. Lula Jones.

Sylvester was a loving and hard working man, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will always be remembered for his big heart and smile. His passion for cars was undeniable; from a hot rod to cruisers, he knew it all. In his words, “If my ride ain’t clean then I don’t feel right driving it!” He also had a love for construction work that was proven by his work history with several paving companies.

Sylvester was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn R. Anderson; His parents, Percell and Mary Anderson; and his mother and father-in-law Lunceford and Mary E. Robinson.
Sylvester leaves to cherish his memories, Lashae Morris (Tony), Sylvester Robinson (Shockia), Jacqueline Anderson, Santana Anderson, Calvin Anderson and LP Robinson; two bonus daughters, Vanessa and Theresa Grant; five bonus grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin and Leonard Anderson; one sister, Carolyn Anderson; three sister and brother-in-laws, seven aunt-in-laws, one uncle-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves devoted friends and boss, Sherman Lessane, Al and Gloria.
Your long road traveled has come to an end; no more worries and no more troubles. Peace at last! Your life is a beautiful memory, your absence a silent grief; you now sleep in Gods lovely garden in the sunshine of perfect peace.
