Deacon Willie J Anderson, Jr

Willie J Anderson, Jr was born on October 31, 1952, and departed this life on January 28, 2021. He was born to the late Willie and Sarah Anderson, Willie grew and up in King William County and graduated from King William High School.

He was employed at Phillip Morris USA for 30 years before his retirement. Willie was a dedicated member of Oak Grove Baptist. He served as the Sunday school teacher and Superintendent. He was a member of the men’s chorus and served as the Chairman of the Deacon Board.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife of 38 years, Maggie Anderson; a Son, Domonic Anderson (Tiffany); Three daughters, Michelle and Dana Anderson, Selena Washington (Kevin); one God-Daughter, Nicole Pope. He also leaves to mourn, six grandchildren: Domonique Anderson, Keniyah Turner, JaMari Anderson, Sarah Tanque, Jordan Washington, and Dacari Harris; his Great Granddaughter: Mila Wright; Two sisters, Mozel Fields and Rebecca Walker; Two Brother-in-laws, Clifton and Wayne Hill; one Sister-in-law, Carlene Hill; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, his calm demeanor, and his warm smile.
