Robert L. (“Bobby”) Washington was born on October 11, 1954, to Wynda (“Junie”) Harris, Jr. and Bessie L. Washington. He was raised and reared in the Christian home of the late Herman J. Washington, Jr. and Bessie L. Washington. On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Bobby entered into eternal rest. He attended the public schools of Hanover County, Virginia. He was employed by Bear Island Paper Company from August 1980 until the company closed. He then became employed with the Hanover County Public School System until his health failed. He was married to Sandra D. (Washington) Fleming, and to this union two children were born, Alisha and Candice Washington. With his kind and tender heart, Bobby also took on the responsibility of being a father figure to Traesha, whom he helped raised and recognized as being one of his daughters. Bobby was a die-hard Cowboys fan. He loved cars and fashion. He would often refer to himself as the “Steve Harvey” of Caroline County.
