Gabrielle was born January 13, 1985 in Richmond, Virginia to Gloria and Willie Lee Smith. She attended Victory Christian Academy from grades K5 through 6th. She found Christ at an early age, was baptized and a proud member of Faith Landmarks Ministries. Gabrielle loved to dance growing up and took ballet lessons from age eight to thirteen. She also sang, played the keyboard and the clarinet. She was a very private person and never spoke unkind works about anyone.

She often spoke of her love for Jesus at a young age and would read her Bible on the way to ballet rehearsals on Saturday mornings. Her favorite Chapter was Revelation and she would always smile and say, "Mom, I want to be just like Jesus when I grow up”. Jesus was 33 years old when he was called home to our father and so was Gabrielle.

Gabrielle graduated from L.C. Byrd High School in 2003. She attended John Tyler Community College to become an Accountant while she worked for the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority (RMTA). She was also employed by the Department of Criminal Justice Services. She loved Math and would often go to summer school to get ahead on her classes.
