Audrick Dale Brown Sr. was born on March 6, 1936. He departed this life on June 12, 2018. Audrick was the oldest of eight children born to the late Augusta and Walter Brown. Audrick left home at an early age to join the US Army where he proudly served during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning home Audrick worked as a Welder, Truck Driver and he owned and operated several Auto Repair Shops in Rockford IL, Washington DC, and Virginia. Audrick worked a number of years at Williams Trucking company, Waste Management, and Preston Trucking company before leaving to start his own Trucking business and Brown’s Quality Lawn Care and Landscape.
Audrick will be dearly missed by all of those who loved him. He left behind to mourn his lost his wife Virginia Brown, his ten children. Audrick D. Brown Jr.(Valerie) of Maryland, Tracey Wesley of Georgia, Freda Fletcher of Illinois, Francine A. McCullough(Kenny) of North Carolina, Anthony H. Brown of Maryland, Theodore P. Brown (Daphne) of Virginia, Audrick D. Brown III of Virginia, Johnathan M. Brown of Virginia, Alicia L. Dent of Illinois, Teddrick A. Gibbson (Turagie) of DC and one stepdaughter LaTonia Brown of Virginia. Four sisters Selina Kelly of Los Vegas, Catherine Palmer(Lloyd) of Wisconsin, Sophronia Bess of California and Aida White(William) of Illinois one Brother Larry Brown(Linda) of Illinois. One sister Valerie Brown Gant and one brother Walter M. Brown proceeded him in death. 39 grandkids, 41 great grandkids and 4 great great grandkids along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
