Warren Coleman



Warren S. Coleman, departed this life at the Memorial Regional Hospital on May 18, 2017. He was the son of the late Junious and Caroline Coleman. He was born on April 22, 1946. Warren accepted Christ at a early age. He was a member of the Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Fields.

He was a faithful and dedicated usher and member of the Bus Ministry. On May 15, 1971 he was united in holy matrimony to Mary L. Morris. From this union, they were blessed with three daughters, Tara, Taketa and Telicia. His favorite sons was “Just A Little Talk With Jesus” and “Handwriting on the Wall”. Warren drove for Apex Construction for many years. He was a truck driver and drove for Payne Trucing, CMT and C.S. Holmes.

Warren loved his grandchildren and loved watching Nascar racing, cartoon, animal channel and wrestling. His favorite movie was Bruce Lee, Bloodbone. He was so much fun to be around. He loved picking and joking with everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone. He loved washing his truck and going fishing. He loved Cadillac cars and big rig trucks.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted with Mary Coleman for forty years. Three daughters, Tara (Thomas) Burton, Taleata Coleman and boyfriend George and Telicia (Corey) Shelton, Sr.; five grandchildren, Candice Coleman and her friend Brandon, Corey, Jr., Casey Shelton, Ja’len and A’lasia Coleman; one great-grandson, Ky’Zavion (Little Man) Coleman; mother-in-law, Irene Morris; brother-in-law, Charles (Sabato) Morris; one aunt Cathleen White; devoted friend Diahann Fields, Rosemary Stokes, James Anderson, Wendell Goodall, Latrice Goodall, Leon Smith and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
