Willie Randolph Pryor peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 19th 2022 with all 3 of his children by his side at the Memorial Regional Hospital

Willie was born on November 23rd 1944 to the late Phil and Molly Pryor. He was raised in Hanover County and was educated in the Hanover County public school system. He accepted Christ at an early age.

Willie was also affectionately known by his nickname “Daughter”. Willie was a kind and humble spirited man. He was truly a family man and did all he could to be well prepared to take on the task.

He was always making sure everyone was straight and he would take the back burner, He had a famous saying that stated the, “Poor critter they can’t help it”

He also was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan; he loved the Dallas Cowboys’ colors. You would often see him wearing his blue hat in his blue truck and wearing anything else he could have in Dallas Cowboys blue

Willie was a hard worker. He was employed at the sawmill, he also gained employment also as a janitor at the middle school, he worked for a while at Holly Farms Chicken Plant (Tyson) and then Union Camp which is now known as the International Paper Co. Willie retired after 32 years of service at Union Camp.

Willie believed that a man should at least have 3 paychecks in his wallet and a little cash for a rainy day.
Willie was preceded in death by his wife Helen Mason Pryor, his son Bobby L Pryor, his father Phil Pryor Jr. his mother Molly Pryor and by 3 brothers Samuel, Allen, and Curtis Pryor.

Willie leaves to cherish beautiful memories by his daughter Loretta Pryor Upshaw [Donald] 2 sons Wallace and Jonathan Pryor 8 grandchildren Keyandra, Taniesha, Franchelle Pryor, Lil Bobby, [CJ] Calvin, Jonathan, and Lil Wallace Pryor [Azaria] Donald Upshaw Jr. [Shayla] and 15 great-grandchildren.

Willie also leaves to mourn 2 sisters Peggy James and Penny Bates [Kevin] one devoted brother-in-law, 1 brother Lester Tyler, another brother-in-law Berdell Mason, 1 sister-in-law Mozelle Keys, 2 aunts Eva Rollins and Dorothy Rollins, and a host of niece’s nephew’s cousin’s relatives and other friends. One devoted friend/barber Minister Ricky Ward
