Willie Morton Henderson was born July 10, 1938, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilmore Henderson. He transitioned peacefully at his home on August 2, 2023.

Willie was educated at Hanover County Public Schools and join Bethany Baptist church at early age. He worked for JH Knighton Lumber Company for over 50 plus years, after retiring he went back to work part time, because he did not like sitting around home with nothing to do. Willie would always say work never hurts anybody. If you talk to him about the old days, he swore he was one of the best baseball players in Montpelier. You could always find him in the yard, doing something.

Wille was preceded in death by his siblings, Ernest, Virginia, Lena, Elsie, Lorenzo and Arnet.

Willie leaves to mourn four sisters Mary Carroll, Ursell Henderson. Barbara (Andrew) Banks and Shirley Anderson and two brothers: Tom (Diane) Henderson and Michael Henderson, host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
