Veraline embraced life and all of its possibilities. Cousins Tonya, Peachie, and Greer you were blessed to have had such an amazing Mom. She was one of the best at conversations, negotiations, and networking. But her love for God and family were at the top. Her generosity will never be forgotten. Like the time I was preparing for a special occasion and she matter-of-factly said, “I have a fur stole for you to wear.”–only Vera! Peace, love, and condolences to the entire family.

Hi Cousins, My deepest condolences to you and your families during this difficult time. Veraline was an amazing, funny, fun loving, beautiful, smart and sophisticated woman. I will always remember the special times, including summers I’d spend with you guys and your mom. Like the time when I was about 15 yrs. old and had to drive Veraline home (at night). It was a running joke how bad of a driver I was, but Veraline said…”Donny” will be fine, even though everyone else was terrified for her! Love you all and Veraline is resting in peace with Nannie, Papa and Grandma Emma:) Dana

Veraline had a smile and an ‘energy’ that will be missed. She helped to greet others at our wedding almost 36 years ago and she also happens to be a good friend of my mom (Alberta). Sincere sympathies to the family. Praying for you all???? Love, Wilber and Cheryl Mallory

Tonya, Peachie and Greer, Please accept my condolences regarding the passing of your mom. She was my cousin, road partner, as well as life long BFF. We’d laugh, cry, talk for hours and the next time we spoke… pick up right where we left off. She was so proud of all of you. I will miss her voice, laugh, advice and wisdom. Peace and blessing and don’t hesitate to call if you need anything. Love u Cousin Channie

Tonya, Peachie, and Greer – I was sadden to hear of the transitioning of your mother. I have fond memories of you all, your grandparents, and your mother – I respectfully nicknamed her “VP”. She was a class act indeed, and made you feel the same! Good times were shared and humorous anecdotes given – I will always remember. Lifting up prayers and God’s strength for the family. My Condolences, Juliet
