This still seems like a dream as days pass by. Velma and I became friends in elementary school and spent many times at each others home. We had a special bond as friends and like a sister that I will always treasure. She will be deeply missed but I know God had a better plan for her. He added another beautiful flower to his bouquet. May you rest in Gods love and peace . Love Gail

We were so close from childhood on up! You were just like a sister. I will remember the times we fished with Granddad and the fun we had! The days we spent cutting grass, planting flowers and putting up Christmas decorations for Aunt Elizabeth is a grand memory! You are going to be truly missed! Rest in peace my dear cuz! Love ya!

Sending heartfelt condolences to the family. You are in my prayers. Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” May you find comfort, strength and peace in the word of God. Much love, Dee

I was blessed to have met Velma. I’ve only known her for a short period of time, as Charles came to our company to help us out with our Health Services. Frequently, I had to get the approval of Velma, to use Charles’ driving skills. When I found out Velma and I shared a birthdate, I told her it was no wonder we got along so well. She was always pleasant and easy to speak with. Her Heavenly walk has begun. Rest in peace.
