Tyesha (Marie) Catlett Robertson was born on November 8, 1988, to Lisa Catlett-Price and Tyrone Michael White (deceased). Most of her childhood was spent in Gordonsville, Virginia, with her grandmother, Alberta Catlett, who she shared a special bond with. At the tender age of six, Tyesha showed the beginnings of her true gifted abilities by creating her first artistic masterpiece. From that time forward, she could always be seen drawing, crafting, or creating something unique. Tyesha was resourceful and utilized any material she could find – straws, cardboard boxes, old t-shirts, etc.. She even created a replica of the house she lived in out of popsicle sticks, complete with the custom paint. What she created even as a child would often blow your mind. In 2007, Tyesha graduated from Monticello High School and eventually went on to study Multimedia Design at DeVry University. She worked several retail jobs, including one that supported her love of fashion. Eventually, when she became unable to work, Tyesha focused all her time on her passion – art. She was a nail artist and created an Etsy shop, Scorpio Enchanted, where she sold her original paintings, candles, oils, and other spiritual needs.

In May 2011, Tyesha met the love of her life, Alicia Robertson. The saying goes you know when you have found your soulmate, and this is true as they were inseparable in every way. They immediately began creating a life together by bonding over their love for family, food, travel, and music. After a whirlwind engagement, they were legally married on January 18, 2013 in Prince George’s County, Maryland. They had their dream wedding surrounded by family and friends on April 27, 2013. Over the next 9 years, Tyesha and Alicia embodied their vows through their love and devotion to one another. They wholeheartedly supported each other’s hopes and dreams. They worked together tirelessly to make them come true with Tyesha turning her passion of art and spirituality into entrepreneurship and Alicia continuing to pursue her career in Criminal Justice. With Tyesha’s business ascending and Alicia’s career advancing, the two focused on their next adventure of starting a family.

Just like her artwork, Tyesha was unique. She was beautiful, kind, funny, talented, selfless, cool, smart, shy, and tough all at the same time. She had a deep love for her family and cherished the time they spent playing practical jokes on each other, vacationing, and spending holidays together. She leaves a void that will never be filled and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Tyesha is survived by her wife, Alicia Robertson; her cat Rowan; mother Lisa Catlett-Price; stepfather Elmer “Buddy” Price; sister Jazmin Price; brother Tyrone White; nephew, Pheenix Price; mother-in-law Willnette Robertson; brother-in-law Harold Robertson II; goddaughter Micah Mills; dear friends Chrissy Hopson and Toeka Hawkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other cherished family and friends.
