Sandra L. Richardson was born May 8, 1958, In Whitakers, North Carolina to the late Catherine Mae and Luther Richardson. She departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Richmond, VA

Sand began her education in Nash County Public Schools. The family moved to Brooklyn New York, in where she continued her education in the New York City Public Schools system. The family relocated to Richmond Virginia in 1989.

Sand began her work career at McDonalds Food Services in Brooklyn, New York she obtained health services training in Richmond VA where she worked until her passing. Sand was an exceptional caregiver and was passionate about the care of her clients.

She loved watching television, dancing, traveling, and took pleasure in preparing meals. She loved spending time with family and friends especially her grand-children and great grandchild.

Sand was preceded in death by her only child Lenwood Thomas Brickhouse Jr., her parents Luther and Catherine Richardson, and two brothers Elnorris and Mack. Her legacy will live on through all those she loved and cared about. She leaves to honor in her memory her granddaughter, Asia Moore; grandsons, Kaleb Williams, and Jakhi Brickhouse; one great-granddaughter, Kylie Finney; her sister, Mary Hymon (Leon); two brothers, Luther (Joanna) and Ossie; two aunts, Etta Bogue, and Victoria Killette; one uncle, James Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
