Samuel Bryant Sr of Hanover, VA went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020 at 1:30pm. He was born July 22, 1934 to the late Rodell and Rachell Bryant. He attend school in Middlesex County.

He was preceded in death by his parents his former wife Rosa Lee Bryant and one child, Charles Bryant. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Laura G. Bryant, son Samuel Jr, daughter Edith Gates (Carlton), son Kelvin Bryant, two aunts and one uncle, grandson Antwoine White (Letitia), grandson Charles Jr, Dominque (Dannelle), grandson Corey Gates. Samuel had eight great-grand children two devote granddaughters who visited him weekly Brianna and Morgan White and a host of family and friends. Joseph Christian a devoted friend who Samuel considered to be closer than friends they were more like brothers.

Memories

Samuel owned his cement business for 28 years and he loved his work. He was known to be a hard worker and in his spare time was a “true” fisherman. Samuel lived his life to the fullest with a determined spirit and a made-up mind. He loved to sing on two choirs. The Men’s Choir and Glouria Shipman Choir.
