This beautiful woman was born to the late Preston and Betty Anderson on February 20, 1937, in Brunswick County, Virginia. Being the oldest, she was also the only girl of her siblings. She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Harry L., Garnett L., and Preston Anderson.
On February 25th 1956, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Brayland Revelle Johnson Sr, who preceded her in death. From this union they were blessed with five children; two preceded her in death: Christopher Preston Johnson and Sherita Lynn Johnson.
Juanita attended Brunswick County and Caroline County Public Schools. She was employed at Holly Farms also known as Tyson Foods for over forty years.
Juanita accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mangohick Baptist Church, under Reverend Walter Cook, where she served as an usher. Later in life, she joined Second Mount Zion Baptist Church as a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Fields.
Juanita was a professional shopper and known to some as Mrs. Chancellor. She was also known for her fashionable hats and jewelry. She knew just how to accessorize. She would often converse with her phone buddies, enjoying talking about old times, as well as how good God has been to her and her family.
Her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grands was endless. Not only them, but other family members and friends as well. She will be greatly missed.
Treasuring her memories are her two sons: Brayland (Judy), Kevin (Elvira) and daughter, Tonya; eight grand-children: Quentin (Vondrenna); Lindsay, Brayland III, Christopher, Joshua, Jaquesse, Damien and Jonathan. Three great-grands: Essence, Connor and Devon. A devoted companion named Zoe. Two sister-in-laws: Elizabeth Johnson and devoted Joan Anderson. Two god-children: Tina Johnson and Brinton Hill. Devoted cousin: Estelle Gillus, along with devoted nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
