Roy Rogers Mattox Jr., affectionately known as Little Roy, was born October 27, 1960, to Roy Rogers Mattox Sr. and the late Gladys Otelia Mattox. He peacefully entered eternal rest on November 4, 2023, at his residence.

Roy attended special education school until the age of 18 in Philadelphia, PA. Years later, he moved to Ashland, Virginia with his parents, where he resided with his caretaker and brother Ulysses Mattox and his caretaker and niece Tosehiba White. Little Roy loved spending time with family, reading magazines, coloring in his coloring book, listening to music and watching television.

Little Roy was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Otelia Mattox. Little Roy was a loving and innocent soul. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving father Roy Mattox Sr. His two brothers, Ulysses Mattox, and Arthur Mattox. His two sisters, Otelia Martin and Darlene Keyes. Two brothers-in-law, Bill Martin, and Robert Ludd. One sister-in-law Ramona Franklin. His caretaker and niece Tosehiba White, his good friend William Oxendine, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. To have known him is to have loved him. A true blessing, he was to everyone.
