Roscoe Dwight Wingfield departed this life on Tuesday. December 08, 2020 at the home of his son Rodney Wingfield in Henrico Virginia.

Roscoe was born on September 12, 1949 to the late Cynthia (Tolliver) Gentry and the late Roscoe Conklin Wingfield.

Roscoe attended public school in Caroline County. He joined the church at an early age. In his early years Roscoe worked as a painter. He loved to paint and was excellent at it. Before retiring Roscoe worked several years at Ashland Milling Company. On his 41st birthday while working at the Mill Roscoe rescued a wheelchair-bound man who had fallen into the South Anna River.
Roscoe was a loving husband and father. He always said I love my family until the end. Roscoe was a kind and caring person who over the years took in several persons who needed a home. His favorite pass time in his early years was fishing.

Roscoe was preceded in death by his brother Prentiss Alonzo Wingfield. He leaves cherished memories to his wife Laura Ross Wingfield, two children Ginger Teneal Wingfield and Rodney Delroy Wingfield. Two grandchildren Jordan Rashawd Wingfield and Mya Teneal Tinsley. His siblings Delores Ann Pass, Dean Russell Wingfield, Debra Marie Harris (Marvin), and a devoted sister Dulaney Allen (Robert). Five half brothers Tracy Wingfield, Danny Wingfield, Lawrence Wingfield, Theo Wingfield (Kimberly), and Michael Wingfield. Three sister in-laws Bernice Wingfield, Deborah Freddie and Shirley Lawson. Aunt; Gloria Burrus (Raymond). Uncle; Frankie Wingfield, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
