Miriam “Mimi” Alexus Alleiña Rodriguez graced the world with her presence on March 25, 1996 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the loving daughter of Kiawanya , and step-daughter of Nnabuife Onyeka Stanley.

She is the fourth of fifteen combined children. From the moment she was born she has been surrounded by the love of her family. Mimi earned her high school diploma from Spotsylvania County school Riverbend High School in May of 2014. Shortly after graduation she started her first job at Bubbles Salon in Fredericksburg, Virginia as a Receptionist for a year. Moving forward in her professional career, Mimi obtained a full time job at Alorica Incorporated, in Fredericksburg, Virginia as a Customer Service Representative until 2017.

Her last office job was working as a Customer Service Representative at Quarles Petroleum Incorporated until 2020. 2017 and 2020, Mimi decided to use her professional skills to help brand and grow local artists and record labels in Fredericksburg. She started at PHRXHVZION (pronounced Pharaoh Vision) Records as a singer, songwriter, and event coordinator. Expanding her reach within the community, she worked with record label DreamTeamVisions (DTV) as the first Chief Marketing Officer.

While maintaining roles at both labels, Mimi signed a contract with LexEditz Photography as an Elite model. She’s made many appearances on runways across the DMV area and has been the face of several fashion boutiques, clothing companies and skin care lines. Mimi is known as the pillar and backbone of the local artistry community. Mimi’s unconditional love for her friends and family was quite evident in everything she did. With her loving spirit she always desired to get married; so on April 16, 2022 she had an “Un-Wedding” and got married to her first love and best friend Benjamin Francis.

Up until her passing, Mimi said that night was the best night of her life. After living a life filled with love, Mimi has now been called home to be with God and is reunited with her little sister Kiawanya “Kia” Hawkins, big brother Darwin William Fay, niece Serenity Williams, and Grandmother June F. Hawkins.

She leaves wonderful memories behind with her mother Kiawanya Hawkins, chosen father Carlton Hagans Sr, step-father Onyeka Stanley, sisters Mercedes Hawkins, Naomi Rodriguez, Ricki Rodriguez, Aniyah Rodriguez, Alexandra Rodriguez, Rain Rodriguez, Hope Rodriguez, Leah Rodriguez, Paige Rodriguez, London Rodriguez, Paige Rodriguez, and brother Aharon Correa. She also leaves behind six nieces and nephews, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
