Mervin Lee Waller, Sr. went to be with the Lord July 4, 2020 after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s. Mervin was born to the late William and Wertie Waller. He was born on March 10, 1934 in King William, VA.

Mervin attended King William County Public School System. He joined the United States Army in 1953 and served his country until 1958. He was employed by Lowes, F.M. Barlow Trucking and retired as a Caroline County Public School System bus driver. He will be remembered for being a lovable and active person. He was a “Jack of all trades” and never backed down from a challenge. Mervin had a hearty laugh that was infectious and he never met a stranger. A very well-liked individual with friends far and wide.

He was the loving and devoted husband of Julia Waller and the father of Bobby Anderson, Calvin Waller, Jerry Waller (Debbie), Rodney Waller (Lily), Carolyn Green, Joanne Waller, Jackie Banks (James), Wanda Waller and Stacey Roberts (Jeremie). A brother, Stewart (Naomi) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Wertie Waller and his son Mervin Waller Jr. Mervin was a loving grandfather of 29 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
