She was granny. I would visit you in Philadelphia. I could listen for hours you telling stories about your childhood. when you moved back home where you grew up. I would visit you in the nursing home.listening to your stories about family and you throwing rocks at the school ? bus filed with white kids. You never said to your grandchildren that being black in America would hold you back. I’m going to miss you granny. I’m writing this to let you know Mom is with you now and uncle June and Garfield along with grandpa.

Grandma I am going to miss the funny stories you would tell me when visiting you. I will miss you but you go on and take your seat in heaven. I know you are up there praising God with Uncles June, Uncle Garfield, Antoine, Burley and Andrae. Rest In Heaven forever in my heart.
