Condolences to all of her family. I would see them, always together sometimes when I’d be at Macy’s in Short Pump. She was loved by all who knew her. They were such a loving couple, always smiling. Rest in peace..?

I send my deepest sympathy to Anthony and the Johnson family. Losing a parent is, of course, difficult to endure. Losing a mother seems to elicit a special type of grief. It saddens me to know of your loss. I’m proud to know a son such as you, Anthony. You have been such a wonderful support and caregiver to your mom. I know she was very appreciative of your overwhelming love and devotion. She was very obviously a wonderful woman. Wishing you all courage, strength and comfort in the upcoming days, months and years. Peace&blessings…Debi Epps

First, I would like to give my deepest condolences to the family, which over the years felt like a part of my family. We moved to Glen Allen when I was sixteen years old and if I am remembering correctly, The Johnson family was the first family that welcomed us to the neighborhood. I remember sitting with Mrs. “J” for hours under the big oak tree just talking and laughing about any topic that we chose to discuss. I loved her pound cakes and potato salad! There are so many fond memories that I hold deep within my heart. Mrs. “J” will always be a special part of my soul. She was an ” angel” here on earth. May God be with All of the family as you grieve. Love and Blessings Always
