I will miss you so much, mom. Already missing the phone calls.and laughter. Your sweet spirit, love and kindness will always be in my heart. I send my deepest sympathy to Anthony and the Johnson family. Losing a parent is, of course, difficult to endure. Losing a mother seems to elicit a special type of grief. It saddens me to know of your loss. I’m proud to know a son such as you, Anthony. You have been such a wonderful support and caregiver to your mom. I know she was very appreciative of your overwhelming love and devotion. She was very obviously a wonderful woman. First, I would like to give my deepest condolences to the family, which over the years felt like a part of my family. We moved to Glen Allen when I was sixteen years old and if I am remembering correctly, The Johnson family was the first family that welcomed us to the neighborhood. I remember sitting with Mrs. “J” for hours under the big oak tree just talking and laughing about any topic that we chose to discuss. I loved her pound cakes and potato salad! There are so many fond memories that I hold deep within my heart. Mrs. “J” will always be a special part of my soul. She was an ” angel” here on earth. May God be with All of the family as you grieve. Love and Blessings Always
