I was so saddened to read about Mary’s passing in the paper. She was such a loving person with a 24-karat heart. Many, many years have gone by since we have seen each other, but I still see her wonderful smile and hear her infectious laugh! I remember us watching JFK’s funeral coverage on TV together-my mom, Mary, my sister and me. None of us spoke, but all of us quietly cried. I remember Mary talking about all her six beautiful babies, and I was always eager to learn about her life with them. I could hardly wait until I was married and had my babies! That day eventually arrived, and Mary was there for my wedding and there 2 years later when I was in labor with my first child. I have many sweet and happy memories of Mary. May Foster, The Moore Family, and The White Family treasure the love she had for all of them forever. Peace be with You. N. Lane

I’ve known “Lil Mary” all of my life. Her parents were very special to me. She always had every strand of her hair in place and was very fashionable. Her smile was radiant and would light up any room. Condolences to her family as I know that she loved you dearly. You’ve returned your love for her as you did everything you could to make her happy. God be with you today, tomorrow and always. We love you.. Robert and Dorothy

Granny you were always so fly! Summers at granny’s house were the best times of my life. Granny’s house was always THE house to be at. You enjoyed being surrounded by your kids and all of your grandkids. I think about you everyday and it still isn’t real to me that you’re physically gone. There aren’t enough words to express what you meant to me. But you will live on through us. I miss you and I love you dearly.
