Mae Coleman Banks entered into eternal rest on Friday November 13, 2020. She was born to the late Ethel Jackson and Griffin Coleman on September 21, 1928.

She was a loving Wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.

She joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age. Preceding her in death is her husband Ellis P. Banks Sr., Son Ellis P. Banks Jr., and grandsons Ellis P. Banks III and Eugene Tyler Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son James Banks Sr. (Martha) and daughter Mary Carter (Robert), 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends; amongst these, two devoted caregivers granddaughter Jennifer Tyler and daughter Mary Carter.
