Leonard Harris Sr, affectionately known as Ol’Folks, was born in Hanover County, Virginia on July 16, 1955, to the late Wilton and Mozell Harris. He matriculated through the Hanover County public school system. Following school he began his masonry career , until he had a chemical reaction.

Leonard gave his life over to Christ, at an early age, and joined Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier Va. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Dressing Up ( one of the sharpest dressed men from Montpelier Va)He enjoyed watching Old Western Movies, and Football games singing and dancing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and whoever is playing against the Dallas cowboys. He was the life of any and every family event. He would walk everyday for exercise and do five push ups. Ol Folks loved his grandchildren more than anything in this world.

He leaves to cherish his memories of his children, Leonard Harris Jr-(Djenane) and Rodney Harris, (Crystal). Ten grandchildren Rodney Harris JR, Rodney Harris 111, Takiyah, Alante’, O’neil Harris, Rayna Berkeley, Quenaysha Houchens, Ladrea Hunt, Darius Whiting, One devoted Olan Harris.one great grandchild Anari’Amor Ross, two Brothers, Alred Harris, John Harris one deceased Melvin Harris , Six Sisters Gladys Harris, Margaret Winston, Florence Brown, Agnes James (Earl), Orelia Stokes , Sharon Harris,(Elma Tyler) blood couldn’t have made them closer. two deceased Elaine Wattie and Annette Morris. One Uncle William Thomas(Emily). Leonard also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. Devoted nephew Terrial Harris . Two Devoted friends Michael ‘Fast Eddie’Tyler, Jane Anderson
