On July 5th 2021, Leatrice Henderson Jackson affectionately known as “Lee” entered into eternal rest.

She was born on September 12, 1951 in Richmond, VA.She was the second to the youngest of seven children of the late Bernice and Thomas Henderson .She is proceeded in death by her daughter Dione (Donna)Giles, her sisters Hazel Morris, Patricia Henderson, Bernice Jackson, Carolyn Morris and her aunt Hazel Woodson.

Lee attended the Hanover County Public Schools and then became employed by Holly Farms now known as Tyson Foods where she worked faithfully and retired after 40 years. She became a member of the Bethany Baptist Church where she accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail.

Lee was always a fun person to be around. She was the fun box and the glue to keep the family together. She always had her door open to everyone. Her passion was cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved music and was the DJ for the family on weekends, she loved her oldies but goodies. She mostly known for having the best Corn Puddin’ in the town. They’re wasn’t a Sunday that went by that you couldn’t Sunday dinner. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband and the love of her life Theodore Jackson of 45 years of marriage, her devoted daughter Felicia Jackson; her devoted grandchildren Dionedra Henderson, Davontae Carter, Davon Carter, Dijon Carter and De’Andre Carter; one great grandson Bryson Carter; 2 son in laws that she loved like very own Derrick Giles and Benjamin Jackson; devoted sisters Gertrude Fountain and Malinda Henderson, sister, Rosa Fleming. 4 devoted nieces Jalisha Henderson, Carolyn Carter (Frederick), Tammy Morris, Rita Henderson; 2 devoted nephews Mickie Henderson and Percy (PJ) James; sisters in laws Margaret Jackson, Mary Taylor, Thomas Jackson (Lou) and Robert Jackson; 2 Godsons Desmond Morris and James Henderson;7 devoted friends; Barbara Banks, Beatrice Page, Janice Lewis, Carrie Johnson, Eunice Hensley,Walter Jackson and Gloria Minor.
