Judy Ellen Barclay Golden passed away at the Virginia Home on June 9, 2023 after a long illness. Judy was born on July 30, 1958, in Plainfield, NJ to Martha and the late Thomas Barclay.

Judy was baptized and received Christ at an early age at St. John’s Baptist Church Scotch Plains, NJ. Judy was blessed with loving God Parents (Lorraine and the late Irvin Barclay). She sang in the choir and was an usher.

Judy attended Plainfield Public School System and after high school was employed by Chubb and Son Insurance Company. It was while working there she met and married Tyrone Golden and out of that union one daughter, Malissa Brandis Golden was born.

Judy attended an interior decorating school in NY for she loved decorating, entertaining, traveling, shopping, going to church, cooking and had & loved the latest fashions.

Judy is survived by her mother, Martha Barclay; two brothers, Anthony (Caron) and Tyrone (Millicent); one sister, Cynthia and daughter Malissa; nieces Farrah (Ronald), Danielle, Laura, Antoinette, Michelle and Stacey (Tecumseh); eight grand-nieces and three grand-nephews.
