Jeanette Winston was born December 29, 1969 to the late William Charles Winston and late Dorothy Mae Fleming. Jeanette peacefully gained her wings on March 28, 2024.

Jeanette was a hard working woman; she loved the work she did as a dishwasher at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. She was a loving and caring person. Jeanette was funny and had a smile that could light up the room. She loved cooking, baking, and shopping. Music was also a big part of her life. Her children and grandchildren are her world, she took care of everything even if she had to do it alone she got it done.

Jeanette was united in heaven with the souls of her father William C. Winston, her mother Dorothy M. Fleming, her brother William E. Winston, and her sister Dorothy M. Winston. She left behind her sister Gloria Winston, brother Tyrone Winston and David Winston. She also left behind her Aunt Betty Culpepper. Jeanette will live in the spirit of her 9 children: James, Denise, Latesha, Tonya, Kevin, Gladys, Deaundre, Angel, and Jamie Winston. Jeanette also left behind 11 grandchildren and her spouse James Jackson.
